When and where do I need to arrive for my crossing?
You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled sailing.
Yarmouth:
Quay 2 Quay Café, Bridge Road, Yarmouth, PO41 0PQ
Lymington Town Quay:
Entrance to the walkway to the boat at Town Quay, SO41 3ET
Lymington Harbour Masters Pontoon:
Entrance to the pontoon, SO41 3SE
Can I bring my bicycle?
Yes, we are able to take bicycles, including e-bikes. Please make sure you add this in under ‘Extras’ when booking your ticket (no cost). This is so we can allocate and save a space for it!
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, we welcome pets onboard as well. Please add this under ‘Extras’ when booking your ticket (no cost). Note that there is a £50 fee in the event your pet fouls onboard.
Where is the Lymington departure point?
The access to the ferry in Lymington is at the Town Quay pontoon, SO41 3ET. It is located by the Town Quay slipway and next to Quay Amenity Car Park.
What are the nearest public transport connections?
Yarmouth
There are busses available near Yarmouth Harbour provided by:
FYTbus which can be viewed HERE.
Southern Vectis which can be viewed HERE.
Lymington
The Lymington Town train station is a few minutes’ walk from the drop off point at Town Quay.
Local buses are provided by:

Morebus which can be viewed HERE.
Is there wheelchair access?
We have space for foldable wheelchairs on the ferry but unfortunately, the circumstances of the boarding and disembarking at both Yarmouth and Lymington harbours provide limitations for wheelchair access.
Passengers will need to have sufficient mobility to navigate a slatted bridge and 7 steps at Yarmouth and a gangway which may have an incline on low tide. At Lymington, a wood pontoon and a small ramp provides access. Onboard the vessel, passengers will need to navigate 9 steps between the upper and lower decks. Access from Yarmouth is to the upper deck and at Lymington to the lower deck.
Can I book a ticket in person on the same day I want to travel?
Yes, we also sell tickets on the same day you wish to travel at the Quay 2 Quay Café in Yarmouth or prior to departure from Lymington. Note that we only accept card payments when buying a ticket on the Ferry from Lymington and tickets are subject to availability.
Can I change my booking?
If you need to change the date of your booking please contact us on helpdesk@quay2quay.co.uk and we will do our best to assist, subject to availability.
Depending on your ticket type (more info on our Fares page) you may be able to use the same ticket subject to availability.
What happens if I am late for my ferry?
If you miss your scheduled trip or fail to board the Ferry, your ticket will still be valid but you will have to notify us which trip you will be using instead, subject to availability.
Can I book the boat for private events or transfers?
Yes, Kraken is available for private event hire. Please contact events@quay2quay.co.uk to enquire about availability and receive a quote for your preferred date. Catering menu is available for your event, upon request.
Where can I park my car?
There are car parks near the harbours at both Yarmouth and Lymington Town. These are run by the Harbour commissioners, Council or private companies in both areas and we recommend looking this up on Google for further details.
